Our Mission is to make Children and Youth an integral part of our life as a church family. We consider them not just the future of our church, but the present. Children are always welcome to participate fully in worship services and church life.
If desired, nursery care is available for children up through age 4 during our 10:00 a.m. Sunday service and at many events.
All volunteers and employees who work with children in any capacity are trained in abuse prevention and child safety through our diocesan offices program call Safeguarding God’s Children. We welcome you and your children to St. Hilary’s!
WeBelong kids education
We’ll be following a new fun and interactive curriculum from Spark House for children ages Pre-K through 5th grade. Classes will start at 10:15 AM in the Education Wing, and the children will be returned to the church during the Peace.
Registration forms must be filled out by parents during the first few minutes of the first class.
Students will be engaged in three to four week workshops focusing on Bible stories and incorporating music, drama, games, cooking, art, and science. We will have a fall and spring ‘semester’ that will look much like our previous Sunday School programs. We will study Old Testament stories in the fall and New Testament in the spring. During Advent, Lent, and summer, WeBelong Kids will look more like our previous Children’s Church program.
Children will meet in a large group that will follow the liturgy of the worship service and incorporate skits, games and service opportunities.
We are excited about our new program and need you to help us make it happen. The WeBelong Kids team is looking for volunteers to help make sure quality Christian education can continue at St. Hilary’s. If you are interested, please call the office at 239-936-1000.
During the 10:00 a.m. Service and at other times per request of parents, a safe, fun and beautiful nursery is available to children birth through 4. Newly renovated in 2016 with loving staff, our nursery is where all the littles (and some of the bigs) want to spend time while their parents enjoy worship, study or fellowship.
Children’s Church follows a fun and interactive curriculum from Spark House for children ages Pre-K through 5th grade. Classes begin at 9:45 AM in Room 4 of the Education Wing and the children will be returned to the church during the Peace and tell Fr Charles what they learned.

One week a month will include a “special activity” such as water play, nature study (God’s gifts) , community service, presentations for the congregation (skits, puppet shows, songs)
A registration form needs to be completed for each child on the first day of class.

Vacation Bible School
2017 brought Outback Rock Vacation Bible School to St. Hilary’s for One whole day where kids ventured into solid faith. They experienced how God was with Joseph in all the highs and lows and followed clues to discover how much God loves them. Through project’s-with-a-purpose, games, music and Bible adventures, Jesus came to life. The Campers ages 4-11 were led by Youth Leaders ages 12-18 and Adults to make this a truly intergenerational experience.
